Even the most well trained dogs have the potential to snap into “lizard brain” and ignore your well trained commands, especially when faced with a distraction more tempting than any reward you could ever provide. For this reason, we train with the e-collar to ensure your dog is reliable off leash.

The e-collar we use does not function as a traditional “shock collar.” Instead, we use low levels that do not hurt or scare your dog. During the initial training, e-collar levels never rise above what your dog is able to feel but not annoyed by. Once your dog clearly understands what is being asked of them, it is possible for the e-collar level to go up if they do not follow your cues when asked.
